I think it was always my first love, but I realised from an early age that there were more actors out of work than in. So it became a hobby, but I have made some money over the years on films and adverts as well as supper theatre productions an in the late eighties and early nineties even took shows to Gibraltar with my then partner at the time, Chloe Franks, with whom we formed a casting agency Hotspots.
One of my favourite parts was playing Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell. An almost one and a half hour monologue. John Smith, taxi driver, in the Ray Cooney farce, Run For Your Wife.
